Talking with pianist Marco Benevento and bassist Dave Dreiwitz of Ween (con subtítulos)
Hear the Marco Benevento Trio – consisting of Benevento on a tricked out 1927 Wurlitzer piano, Andy Bolger on drums, and Dave Dreiwitz (of the band Ween) on bass – play their genre-crossing jazz-rock at the Club at Water Street Music Hall. We talk to Dreiwitz during the sound check and later we hear Benevento talk about playing the piano as a kid and the challenges and rewards of the music-writing process. Benevento has previously been in the Benevento/Russo duo, Garage a Trois and toured with Trey Anastasio and Mike Gordon of Phish. / Hablamos con dos componentes del trío de Marco Benevento: el bajista Deave Dreiwitz (que también toca en Ween) y con el pianista Marco Benevento que ha tocado en varios grupos como Benevento/Russo dúo, Garage a Trois y con los músicos Trey Anastasio y Mike Gordon de Phish.
